Why choose Staff Defence to train you?
When you’re concerned about personal safety (yours or someone else’s) or looking for good solutions to managing a potential conflict, you want to be sure that the training you get to help you is of the highest standard.
Choosing Staff Defence as your training company gives you the information and practise you need, to give you peace of mind and to feel safe and confident going forward.
The company was started by Steven Scales and Peter Holmes in 2009. They wanted to develop a simple and effective version of the skills they had learned over many years, so that people can defend themselves without having to be physically fit or strong, and without having any previous experience – in particular they wanted to help women and children in this regard.
“It is very satisfying when you can see people after the courses feeling empowered and having a greater level of self esteem and confidence, which can have a big impact on how they approach life as a whole.” – Steven Scales
Staff Defence instructors have been hand-picked for their expertise in their relevant fields and many come from a wide range of levels in the Security Industry and the British Military.
